About Daylesford Christmas Tree Farm
Daylesford Christmas Tree Farm is a cut your own Christmas tree farm on Coopers Lane at Musk, near Daylesford in Victoria's Macedon Ranges, selling trees direct to the public as well as wholesale. For every tree cut, the farm plants a new one.
In its most recent season the farm opened from 22 November to 22 December from 9am to 7pm, and on 23 December from 9am to 5pm. Trees are priced by height, from $65 for a 4ft tree up to $200 for a 10ft tree, with larger trees priced on application. Netting for transport costs an extra $8 per tree, and the farm recommends Cinco tree stands, which are sold on site alongside other Christmas decorations and lights in its own shop.
Trees are at least four years old and are trimmed several times a year to keep their shape before they are cut.
