About Tamar Valley Flower Patch

Tamar Valley Flower Patch is a small cottage style flower farm at Bridgenorth, about 20 minutes from Launceston in the heart of the Tamar Valley. Grower Catherine Mackrell first opened the property to the public for pick your own flowers a recent season, growing chemical free blooms.

Picking reopens on 25 November each year and continues through summer into March, by online booking only. Visitors wander the cottage style picking beds and cut their own flowers to arrange and take home; a container should be brought from home, and cutting snips are supplied but are not for children under 12 to use unsupervised. All children must stay within the fenced picking area with an adult. Dogs are not permitted, and there is currently only limited toilet facilities on site, with parking available past the entrance.

The farm also sells DIY event buckets, wholesale flowers and custom arrangements outside of the pick your own season. Bookings and current pricing are handled through the farm's own website.
