About Harvey Farm Barn

Harvey Farm Barn is a working farm at 55 Government Road, Cookernup, near Harvey in the South West, that runs pick your own flower sessions across its seasonal blooms. Sunflowers are the main summer to autumn attraction, with zinnias and cosmos also planted at different times of year, and past sessions have run as single ticketed openings in late January and again in April.

Tickets are pre booked online and timed to manage numbers, with sunflower stems priced at $25 for a bunch of 6 or $50 for 13, and visitors bring their own scissors or secateurs to cut their bunch. The property also has a cafe serving coffee and ice cream, a playground with a cubby house, tractor themed climbing structure and swing, picnic areas, accessible pathways and parking, and it keeps alpacas and pigs for visitors to meet. The farm has recently said it will not be reopening for the coming spring due to weather, after a previous season's zinnia field, so its usual twice yearly pattern may not hold this year. Checking the farm's Facebook page before planning a visit is the only reliable way to know if and when sessions will next open.
