About Boss Berries

Boss Berries is a family run pick your own blueberry farm on the Dorrigo Plateau at Bostobrick, inland from Coffs Harbour. The blueberries are grown spray free, with the farm saying the only things that touch the fruit are sun, rain, birds and bugs in the orchard. Visitors pick straight from the bush during the summer season, typically December to February, though exact picking dates depend on the weather and are best confirmed on the farm's Facebook page beforehand. Picking is charged by the bucket rather than by weight: a small 3.4 litre bucket holding roughly 2 to 2.3 kilograms, or a larger 10 litre bucket holding around 5 to 6 kilograms. The farm provides the picking buckets, but visitors are asked to bring their own shallow containers to carry the berries home so they do not get crushed on the trip. Mobile reception in the paddock is unreliable, so cash is the preferred way to pay. Boss Berries is at 24 Emersons Road, Bostobrick, and can be contacted by phone or through Facebook.
