About Berrylicious Strawberries

Berrylicious Strawberries is a pick your own strawberry farm at West Parade, Thirlmere, near Picton, about an hour and a quarter from Sydney's inner west. The strawberries are grown in an elevated greenhouse system roughly two metres off the ground, which means picking is done standing up rather than crouching, and the whole experience is under cover, making it a good option on a rainy day.

Pick your own days are limited and announced on the farm's Facebook page, where bookings are also made; sessions are not offered every day. Peak picking runs through summer, from around December to February, with some additional sessions in spring and autumn in some years. Entry is $25 per person aged 10 and over, which includes eating as many strawberries as you like on site, $15 for children under 10 and free for children under two. Any strawberries taken home are charged separately at $25 per kilogram. Because dates are announced a short time ahead and bookings fill quickly, visitors should follow the farm's Facebook page for the next available session.
