About Tanamera Christmas Tree Farm
Tanamera Christmas Tree Farm is a family owned pick your own Christmas tree farm at 62 Hunt Road, McLaren Flat, on the Fleurieu Peninsula. The farm has been running since 1995 and gives visitors the chance to walk the rows, choose a tree and have it cut fresh on the day, with a fairy garden on site to keep children entertained while parents pick.
The 2026 season opens on Saturday 14 November and runs through to late December, open Thursday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm and closed Monday to Wednesday. Trees are priced from $100 to $220 depending on size. The farm recommends arriving early in the season to get the best choice of trees, and a reservation is recommended rather than essential. Part of the proceeds from tree sales goes to World Vision. Visitors can reach the farm directly by phone or email to check availability before travelling out, particularly in the first weekend of the season when demand is highest.
