About Nicoletti Orchards
Nicoletti Orchards is a third generation family apple orchard at Pozieres, in the Granite Belt near Stanthorpe. Alongside apples, the orchard also grows peaches and plums and opens the stone fruit rows for pick your own on selected weekends in December each year, before the main apple season.
The apple pick your own season runs from late February through to early May, with opening weekends announced on Facebook and the website as the crop ripens. Fruit is sold by weight on a sliding scale: $6 per kilogram for the first 5kg, $5 per kilogram from 5 to 10kg, and $4.50 per kilogram beyond that. Entry to pick is free, you pay only for what you pick, and bags or boxes are available to buy if you do not bring your own.
On days outside the picking calendar, the on site farm shop sells pre-picked apples and other produce, no ticket required. The orchard has picnic areas and is dog friendly. Opening hours vary by weekend, generally a morning to early afternoon window, so check the farm's Facebook page or website before visiting to confirm the next open date and hours.
