About Canoelands Orchard

Canoelands Orchard is a pick your own fruit farm at 27 Canoelands Road, Canoelands, in the Hawkesbury countryside about an hour from central Sydney. Its main crop is nectarines, alongside peaches and plums, with the major harvest running from mid October to late December. Entry costs $5 for adults and $3 for children aged 5 to 15, with under 5s free and a family rate of $16 for two adults and two or more children, and picked fruit is charged on top at $6 a kilogram for stone fruit.

The orchard is open 9am to 5pm, seven days a week during the main harvest, closing only on Christmas Day. Bookings are only needed for groups of 20 or more. Besides picking, there is a farm stall selling honey, jams, chutneys and ice cream, a small cafe with coffee, snacks and drinks, a picnic area and a small playground, plus bee tours and animal and tractor rides at times. The property also grows blueberries, tomatoes and passionfruit, though it was not confirmed whether these are self-pick or sold at the stall only.
