About Blueberry Fields

Blueberry Fields is a blueberry orchard at 769 Fernleigh Road, Brooklet, in the Byron hinterland, about 20 minutes from Byron Bay or Ballina. Outside pick-your-own days, fresh blueberries are sold from a farm gate stall at the property and at local farmers markets, with the fruiting season generally running from July to January. Pick-your-own is run as separately announced days within that season, typically in September and October when the crop and weather allow, and is not offered every week. The farm's own website states that no pick-your-own days ran this season and that it expects to resume from September 2026, so visitors should check the website or Instagram before planning a trip. When pick-your-own is running, entry is $10 per person or $30 for a family pass covering two adults and two children, with children five and under free, and picked fruit is $15 a bucket, with buckets supplied. Cash and card are both accepted. The property has narrow, bumpy access roads, so visitors should drive slowly, and are advised to bring sun protection, suitable footwear for grassy or muddy ground, and water.
