About Westerway Raspberry Farm

Westerway Raspberry Farm sits on the Tyenna River flats at Westerway in the Derwent Valley, on the way to Mount Field National Park. The Clark family has grown raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries and other soft fruit here for more than 20 years, across over 40 hectares.

Visitors can pick their own berries in season: raspberries from early December to the end of January, strawberries from late November through into autumn, and blackberries from early January into early autumn. The Farm Gate Shop is open daily from 9am to 5pm from December to May, and sells fresh and frozen berries, ice cream, coffee and jams when it is not picking season, or if you would rather not pick yourself.

There is outdoor seating with shade and access to the river, and leashed pets are welcome in the seating area. The farm also sells at Salamanca Market in Hobart. The shop is closed over winter, from June to November.
