About Santa's Shaped Christmas Tree Farm
Santa's Shaped Christmas Tree Farm grows pruned and shaped pine Christmas trees at Gundaroo, on the outskirts of the village about 40 kilometres north of Canberra on a fully sealed road. The farm has been supplying the Canberra region for more than two decades.
Visitors can drive into the plantation along wide laneways between the rows, park up and walk out to choose a tree. One of the farm's helpers then cuts it down and nets it ready for the trip home, and a trailer or suitable vehicle is recommended for transport. Drinks, ice creams and tree stands are sold on site, and kids receive a free Christmas bauble with each tree purchased. Delivery and later removal of the tree can also be arranged.
The farm trades Thursday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm, through its late November to late December harvest season, and trees can also be pre ordered online ahead of a visit. Pricing starts from around $90 with an early order discount; the standard in season price was not published.
