About Pialligo Harvest
Pialligo Harvest is a small family run vegetable farm on Kallaroo Road in Pialligo, in the flat river country between central Canberra and the airport, and describes itself as the largest chilli farm in the ACT and surrounding region. Pick your own here is centred on chillies, with varieties including Bhutanese, jalapeno, long cayenne, Carolina Reaper, habanero and dalle grown across the property. The farm only opens for picking on specific advertised open days each summer into early autumn, and closes entirely outside that window; the farm's own website currently states the 2026 season is closed, with picking due to reopen in January 2027.
