About Petal Falls Orchard
Petal Falls Orchard is a small, family owned and run cherry and stonefruit orchard at Kingsvale, in the Hilltops cherry district near Young. During cherry season, which runs from around the start of November through to the end of December depending on the weather, visitors can pick their own cherries straight from the trees or buy fruit already picked from the shed. The orchard also grows apricots, peaches, nectarines, plums, apples and pears, and sells local figs, jams, sauces and fruit pies from the shed. No booking is required to visit during the season. Petal Falls Orchard is at 924 Kingsvale Road, Kingsvale, on the eastern side of the Hilltops cherry growing area, and can be reached by phone or through its Facebook and Instagram pages. As with most orchards in the district, picking depends on the season and the weather, so it is worth checking ahead before travelling out to the farm, especially later in the season when fruit can sell out.
