About Misty Valley Farm

Misty Valley Farm is a blueberry farm at Brunkerville, on the edge of Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley, run on organic, biodynamic growing principles. Visitors can pick their own blueberries during the farm's summer picking season, which generally runs through December and January.

Picking is organised as ticketed sessions rather than an open walk-in visit, with the farm open to pickers Friday to Monday from 8am to 5pm while the crop is on. The farm also supplies fresh blueberries to shops and chefs outside picking season.

Because the farm's own website could not be reached at the time of writing, the current season's picking dates and any ticket prices are best confirmed through the farm's Facebook page or by phone before travelling out to Brunkerville. As with other small Hunter Valley farms, picking windows depend on the crop and the weather, so it pays to check ahead rather than turning up unannounced.
