About Kandanga Creek Christmas Trees
Kandanga Creek Christmas Trees is a family-run choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm at 908 Kandanga Creek Road in the Mary Valley, about 20 minutes from Gympie and 40 minutes from Noosa. The family began growing Radiata Pines here in 2023. Visitors can wander the rows of trees and select and cut their own, or choose from potted trees that can be replanted after the season; a gift shop on site, The Old Barn, sells decorations and other Christmas items.
The farm runs a pre-tagging system: trees can be reserved online ahead of the season, with the season opening gala event held on 24 October and tree collection and harvest starting from 29 November. Cut trees are available in 5, 6 and 7 foot sizes straight from the field.
There is no listed price on the farm's own website, and regular visiting hours are not published, so anyone planning a visit should call, text or email ahead, or check Facebook and Instagram for current stock and open days. The farm offers to arrange pickup or postage for online orders as well as on-farm selection.
