About Eastlake's Family Tree
Eastlake's Family Tree, previously known as Fairfield's Orchard, is a multi-generational cherry orchard on the Olympic Highway between Young and Wombat, in the Hilltops cherry district. The Eastlake family has worked the property since 1862. The orchard grows many cherry varieties to export standard and offers both shed door sales and pick your own cherries, subject to fruit availability and weather, from early to mid November through to late December. Bookings are encouraged, and visitors are advised to check the orchard's Facebook page for current picking days and times before travelling out. Alongside cherries, the property also grows strawberries and figs, with figs ripening just before Christmas, though it is not clear whether these are available to pick or are sold already picked.
