A family run plantation of over 1,000 trees, cut your own, just outside Richmond, with trees from 1 metre up to over 3 metres. Bookings are essential as tree numbers are limited each year; book online via the farm's website. Coal Valley Christmas Trees is a family run, cut your own Christmas tree plantation at 1 Walworth Road, just outside Richmond, growing more than 1,000 trees ranging from 1 metre up to over 3 metres tall. Visitors stroll through the plantation to choose and cut their own tree.
The farm opens to the public on weekends only, across the Christmas period from November. Because the number of trees for sale each year is limited, bookings are essential and are made through the farm's website; joining the mailing list gives early access to booking tickets before general release. On site there is a Santa's Workshop selling handmade decorations, mosaics, mirrors and jewellery, along with two photo stations set up with festive props for family photos.
